Are You A Fan of Transformers: Dark Side of the Moon? [Movies]

 

YES! YES! YES! YES!  This franchise is due for redemption after Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.  I gave that film a pass because of the Great Writers Strike of 2007.  Many films and television shows suffered.  It was clearer with television many were hit but some not so hard (How I Met Your Mother & Lost) and some really hard (Heroes...).  As far as the big screen I think Transformers: ROTF took a serious blow especially when comparing it to the first.  There was something missing.

But now, we've got something new and judging from the clear plot based on this teaser, this final installment is going to be epic.  Check out the trailer.  Let us know...

Halle Berry seems to be after our good friend Oscar.  I'm interested in this because she's a schizophrenic black woman who has a racist personality.  Sounds like a Farrely Brothers comedy that's co-written by Dave Chappele & Bill Burr but it's a drama with potential people!

Zack Snyder has made a name for himself since the film 300 in 2006.  Watchmen intrigued us, Legends of the Guardians wowed us and now we have Sucker Punch.  Judging from the trailer, I believe Sucker Punch is going to bring him to a new level in the action genre.  It's going to be interesting to see what he does with the Superman franchise.

Tear jerker and Oscar contender.  Rabbit Hole looks like a hit based on the trailer.  Here is a synopsis: 

 "Becca (Nicole Kidman) and Howie Corbett (Aaron Eckhart) are a happily married couple whose perfect world is forever changed when their young son, Danny (Phoenix List), is killed by a car. 

Becca, an executive-turned-stay-at-home mother, tries to redefine her existence in a surreal landscape of well-meaning family and friends. Becca's experiences lead her to find solace in a mysterious relationship with a troubled young comic-book artist, Jason (Miles Teller) - the teenage driver of the car that killed Danny. Becca's fixation with Jason pulls her away from memories of Danny, while Howie immerses himself in the past, seeking refuge in outsiders who offer him something Becca is unable to give. The Corbetts, both adrift, make choices as they choose a path that will determine their fate."

 The trailer grabs every emotion and tugs at the heart.  

I don't know how a parent will be able to sit through a movie like this one.
